「Room was clean and charming. 3rd floor was tricky with luggage. Unclear on Hot tub - little information about it Across from wonderful ice cream place though.」

「The breakfast menu was awesome. Amanda is an amazing cook ! I stayed at the Amberson House for 3 nights and was very happy about my experience there. The house its self is a beatiful old home and funished beautifully wth antiques . Everone was very welcoming and friendly. 」

「When we arrived our tv was not working. Housekeeping ignored our room. Had to request trash removal and towels. We were there 5 days and housekeeping never came until the evening before we left and then it was only because I requested it. Breakfast is nice.」

「It is an older property, but was clean. We parked right in front of our room. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great; convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions.」

「I found the air conditioning thermostat very difficult to use. It kept wanting to go to heat instead of air. And the television kept buffering losing connectivity」

「Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.」

「Vending machines do not work. Took our money. Someones old bra in the front of the build. Cars with open hoods , sketchy long term residents there. Needed some extra towels. Had to go down to the desk to get them. Guy asked my wife to bring down dirty. WTH.」

「We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.」
