Don't waste your money staying here! We ended up at another hotel because of the lack of help and the horrible room. The toilet felt like the height of one in a pre-school and the climate control of the room was terrible. The bathroom was very small and not very friendly to use. The sound of the traffic was not good either. Could not reach any staff to discuss our concerns had to send an email to get answered 2 days later. Lock to main house door was supposed to be kept locked and was not. Hot tub was also out of order and was not told until the day before arrival. Again don't waste your time with these people, go somewhere else!

The property was in a great location to walk the town. Room was large and clean. The bathroom itself and amenities were dated but the house is historic so not unexpected. It was a good choice for a one night stay.

I had a wonderful time at the Brickhouse , it was like stepping back in time. Patricia and the rest of the staff were wonderful, and the walkable location can’t be beat. I’ll be back!

Most bed and breakfast include a hot breakfast, not here unless you pay extra per person. This is not mentioned in the Expedia information. Only after booking did I find out from info sent to me from the property. Could not cancel without losing my money. Then received info that a champagne social at 5:00 pm to meet staff and other guests starting in April only to get updated info 2 days prior to arrival that it wouldn't start until June. No sorry or any reason given on why not as advertised in earlier info. The code to get into the room did not work for us or 2 other rooms' guests that we met trying to get in.By dumb luck one of the staff was leaving but stayed to help us get into our rooms. The only thing I can say that was good was that the room was very clean and so were the common areas, also the staff member who helped us get in was great and very apolegetic. The grab and go breakfast was a great disappointment compared to other B&B's I have stayed at. The hot tub was out of order, the rooms toilet belongs in a pre- k room, not for adults and the bathroom sink drained so slowly. I truly regret staying here with so many other choices to choose from.

Charming Civil War era hotel in fantastic historic location. Clean with helpful staff. The mini split did not cool the room adequately, but the windows open and there was a ceiling fan!

We had a wonderful day at Gettysburg. When we got to the property, our room was very warm. The air conditioning did not work at all. The Internet did not work. There was no television. We did turn it into the owner. Who sent somebody at 8:45 PM. They weren’t able to fix it or the Internet in the other rooms. The entire house had an issue with Internet and TV. The person who came stated that we would get a partial refund. We never got an apology even from the owner. I realize things happen. I would’ve thought the owner could’ve at least made it right in some manner. If I ever return back to Gettysburg, it will not I will not stay there. I thought it was very poor customer service.

This was my second Gettysburg visit in a year and my first time visiting The Brickhouse Inn. My experience was outstanding. Online booking and check in was easy. Clear and gracious pre-arrival communications were extremely helpful. The historic grounds, inn, and my room were very clean and inviting. It was a step back to another time in all the best ways. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Patricia was truly a fabulous host at any hour of the day. And her fresh baked afternoon cookies were delicious, not to mention her spirited good humor and conversations. When I return to Gettysburg again, the place where I lay my head at night has already been decided. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

Parking was secure and easy, room was nice but very hot when we got there - it took a long time to cool it down but eventually by bedtime, it did cool down. House is very nice and clean and host Patricia is very friendly and welcoming.

My 2nd time here - first time I stayed in the Welty House, this time the Brickhouse. Loved the outdoor seating. The hot tub was very nice, but the temperature was extremely hot. Love the historic vibe. Nice staff, responded in a timely fashion. Would rather have bars of soap vs the soap dispenser since it disconnected very easily in the shower. Otherwise, slept well and will return again in the near future.

Location, location, location. We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property which is located just minutes away from everything Gettysburg. We stayed in the Kentucky Suite in the historic Welty House, and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect place for our seven night stay. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our visit memorable. The grab-and-go breakfast was a plus. We highly recommend staying here on your next visit to this amazing town.

Inn was nice, historic, and located walking distance to shops, museums, downtown, and the battlefield. Staff was nice and so relaxed which surprised me after the excessive messages I received before checking in. Parking was tight for a large vehicle, but easy though you do have to walk down and up stairs with luggage.
