「Property is set clifside with forests surrounding the area. Short walk to the beach and to local exploration options. The room was clean and comfortable with an outstanding view of the ocean. The furnishings had a 70’s feel. The property was having some work being done, which kept me from giving it a 5. Side note; use the bellhop to get your bags to your room. There were lots of stairs to climb with suitcases.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Surfland. The room was clean with a fabulous ocean view. It was unusually warm so the room was hot with no air conditioning; the windows only opened a little ways. However, the staff found a box fan for us which helped. Be aware that this is a cliff side hotel. It is a bit of a hike up and down to the beach, but the views are worth it! 「My boyfriend and I wanted a night away at the coast (we live in the valley) and came across this property. It was exactly what we paid for. We were on the 4th floor and had a wonderful view of the beach, as does all rooms. The bed/pillows weren’t the best, but definitely not the worst we have encountered.
