"Always a convenient nice place to stay. Parking fees to me are a bit shocking for the parking lot. 7 days 435.00 "

"Overall, my accommodations were spacious. I was a solo traveler and had two bedrooms as well as a full kitchen, living room, 2.5 baths, and a laundry area. The resort is towards the south end of Ali'i Drive. In general, you would probably need a car if you plan to stay here since it is a bit of a hike to get out to Ali'i drive and then over to the shopping center in Keauhou. With a car, you are five minutes to the shopping center for groceries; six minutes to the beach and 12 minutes to the Kona Village tourist area. In that I had a rental car, I found everything to be easily accessible. I believe this resort also doubles as a timeshare facility. Thus, I sense that, if I were traveling with my wife, I would have been cajoled to sit through a sales presentation. Thankfully this was not the case and I had more time to spend on my vacation!"

"We enjoyed our stay and would go back. It was a really nice property with a great view. The room was a bit dated but overall it was fantastic and would stay again in exact same place and same room."

"The views from this place are amazing! The location is excellent. You can walk to a variety of restaurants and also do some shopping. The food at Dons Mai Ta was ok. The bed was comfortable. The only negative thing that should be said is that the room and hall way have an old dirty carpet smell. We left our bedroom sliding door open the whole time we were there so it helped BUT the smell was disappointing. The building seems old and the outside walls are cracking and falling apart. They are renovating one of the buildings, hopefully they don’t put carpets in :) "

"Room was clean and it had absolutely everything that you might need for a nice vacation, starting with kitchen appliances and utensils, and finishing with beach chairs, umbrella, noodles etc."

"We had a 2 bedroom Ocean View condo. It was very affordable for 6 people for 10 days. The condo had plenty of space including a large upstairs bedroom with a full bath with a partial ocean view patio, a bedroom on the middle floor with a patio facing the mountain side, a large living room/dining area, large enough full kitchen, and another large ocean front patio where we comfortably sat all six of us. The room itself though not super updated(but that didn’t matter to us) was very clean, had plenty of amenities such as dishes, cookware, towels/toiletries and additional upon request. The hosts also had extra things such as paddle boards, goggles, a snorkel set and tennis balls available to use which I thought was a lovely extra. The only thing I did not like about the room that I was disappointed about was that the “1 double sofa bed” listed in the ad was an air mattress. I was expecting a pull out couch. When I requested a rollaway bed, they did not have any. The area was quiet, had several community bbqs in which we used regularly and were always able to find an open one that was easy to use. Pools were clean and not overcrowded(we did go during off season in October). The view of the ocean was amazing, although there were a couple palm trees that obstructed the view at sunset. Overall, with 4 adults, a 15 year old and a 7 year old, we really enjoyed the condo and the property. If we return to the area, we would stay here again if it were still affordable and available. "

"We had a WONDERFUL stay, rooms were comfortable and super clean!! You cannot see the ocean from the surfer room, but there is a wonderful outdoor kitchen/Lanai just up the stairs where we could see a mildly obstructed view of the ocean. We will def be back! "
