「This is a great boutique hotel in a vibrant neighborhood and within walking distance to the Mag Mile, the river walk, the beach, and old town. It’s surrounded by shopping and restaurants and is a very safe area. They have a roof top pool and a roof top lounge, which was very nice and fun and had great views. The only downside is that the valet parking is very expensive compared to other hotels, but it was worth it to me. 」

「I had a great experience at Ivy Boutique Hotel on a previous visit, but this time was a complete letdown. The heating was broken in freezing 0-degree Chicago weather, making the room unbearably cold. To make matters worse, there was no liner between the sheets, which felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. It’s clear that the quality has decreased significantly, and the attention to detail is lacking. For the price, I expected much better. Won’t be returning.」
