We’d just arrived to drop off our luggage and the gentleman at the front desk offered to take our luggage to the room as we were crunched for time. A cab was waiting to take us to Highclere. Our room was cozy, clean and exceptionally stocked with clean towels, tea kettle, delicious coffee and tea. Dinner was great, with plenty of beer and wine options. 「Beautiful property, gorgeous rooms but it’s the extra touches like free wellies to use when it’s muddy, free popcorn, drinks and snacks in the corridors, wine hour, free homemade biscuits etc that make it even more special. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved the serene spa space we had almost to ourselves. Staff also couldn’t be more helpful. Will be back in summer to try the outdoor pool 」
