「What a great find! Visiting the area for a gig & decided to have 2 nights away. The Great House was a last minute booking but what a wonderful place! Idylic riverside setting in a small village with lovely bar & restaurant. Staff were all very friendly, from the lady who greeted us at reception & upgraded our room to the fabulous housekeeping - the lady with the ted hair deserves a special mention as we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her!!! 「On arrival an amazing young lad helped with bags and putting bikes away. Rooms excellent, food excellent. Be nice if breakfast staff was as personable as she was efficient. No hairdryer in room. Overall a fantastic place to stay.」
