「only stayed one night whilst visiting a friend locally. really impressed with friendly staff. spacious venue. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Bar manager was very sociable for after dinner drinks. Room was a very good size with large ensuite with bath and separate shower. Bed super comfy. Small negatives were no milk on the hot drink tray. Impressive cobweb in bathroom and some damage to wallpaper and rug. None of which detracted from a great stay. Would easily recommend to...

「The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. 「Very charming. We had a lovely dinner in front of a crackling log fire. My partner’s onion soup was the best he’d ever tasted, even better than fancy restaurants in Paris! The bedroom was set apart from the main building so it was nice and quiet and we slept well. We got up early for winter solstice sunrise at Stonehenge intending to be back in time for breakfast, however we were a little late back, but the owner was very accommodating and made sure we still got fed. 「I've stayed here a few times now for work. Good location. Easy parking. Friendly staff - every single one of them - from reception, to bar staff, to cleaners, gym staff. Cannot fault them!
