Enjoyed our room although the shower was somewhat temperamental - bath worked perfectly but shower was all pressure or a dribble
Most friendly staff who were so helpful
Excellent one night stop as part of cycling the NCN4 cycle route. They were able to provide undercover storage for our bikes which was much appreciated.
Delightful linens, food, ales, garden... and the staff are wonderful. A hidden gem that is a beautiful getaway easily accessible by car or railroad - or indeed on the Kennet by boat!

Liked: Staff & service
Nice location, beer and food was very good. The room where OK but it was cold and not much heating available. The place seems run down and could do with decoration. All in all it was OK
A lovely country pub / hotel with most welcoming staff. We had a most enjoyable quality evening meal after a couple of drinks in the pub bar.
Full of local folk who were most friendly
Would certainly come back again

Dogs
We had a great time. Lovely to stay in a place where dogs don’t phase people. We were able to take our dog the dining area for breakfast and evening meal.
We stayed at The Dundas when attending a wedding nearby, and it was just lovely. Wonderful staff, super friendly. Our room was great, the bed was so comfortable and I didn’t want to get out of it! Beautiful surroundings by the canal, we had a lovely private patio out to the water. Hoping to return for lunch in warmer weather!
This is a good option if staying locally. We opted for a nice room on the canal and it was delightful. Very pleasant helpful staff with special mention to Matty who helped soothe an issue.
Very comfortable room, nice touches with water, good quality ground coffee, a cafetiere and what looked like home made cookies. Staff gave us a small flask of fresh milk. Our room had an outside seating area with a lovely view over the river at the back.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home, and nothing was too much trouble. Matty the Manager went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, and was really good as a people person, very ably help by his assistant manager Liam. We loved the setting, adjacent to the Canal, breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this team and venue
Stayed for 2 nights for our 35th wedding anniversary, room was spacious and comfortable with two very nice easy chairs. The shower had a bit of a mind of its own, but was lovely, hot and very powerful. Nice tea and coffee without the usual Nescafé! Particularly liked the Monbana hot chocolate. Great food and staff very friendly and hardworking. Nice walks along the canal, all in all we’d go back.
I have stayed at the Dundas Arms every time I have visited Kintbury, I have visited Kintbury every five years since 1945 and have many friends there
Thank You
The Dundas Arms is in an amazing Location and the river rooms with the outlook made our stay so memorable. All the staff are so pleased to help and their service is prompt and nothing is to much trouble.
The Beer garden is also kept very well and atmospheric in its surroundings.
The menu would be great with a few extra options if you are staying for a few days.
We would definitely book again.
A beautiful spot to stay, plenty of parking. Staff very friendly and chatty, especially Rosalind, made us feel we belonged. Our bed was very comfortable and the room quite spacious with a terrace and river outside our patio doors.
Only thing we didn't like was the weather, but that's England for you in March!! :o)
