「The air conditioning was rarely turned on and the room was hot and stuffy. No control of air colnd from the room unit.
Order the vegetable soup for 6 pounds. Was watered down freeze dried 'cup-a-soup'. Bloody awful.
Was refused a hot steak sandwich at 7.20pm and told by staff not available after 6pm as per the menu. Nowhere on the menu is this stated. (THEN ODERED THE SOUP INSTEAD)
Constant noise of thumping feet and furnuture being dragged accross the floor up to 11pm at night from the
floor...

「I was upgraded to a larger room on the ground floor which was lovely and the chap on reception was extremely helpful The only shame was no kitchen at the moment but there is a Sainsbury at the garage right opposite so easy to get some food and he supplied cutlery for me

「Room was clean but very tired as was the building in general . Breakfast was plenty but cooked breakfast was not fresh as in sausages were hard to cut and bacon crispy and dry . Have stayed there many times in the past, it’s a lovely building in style but unfortunately hasn’t been lovingly cared for by Greene King brewery. Shower was hot and quite powerful but no shower/bath mat available was a case of do I break anything on my body trying to climb out of bath as so slippery 」
