「For the price this is a GREAT option. Centrally located, amazing breakfast/lunch place downstairs and all the required basics for an over night stay. It isn't fancy but makes up for it in local charm, history, fair price and location. Only issue for me is walls are thin ( or some people are exceptionally inconsiderate/loud -- I'd suggested posting asking guests to be mindful of noise and disturbing others. 「We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! 「We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too.
