「To us this was a hidden gem. It is far from everything but that makes it really nice and cozy. We went in winter and enjoyed the hot outside pool with snow in the surrounding area. If you come from Toronto area please expect winter conditions to last longer in the hotel area. Excellent food in the pub at night, staff couldn't be more pleasant helpful and polite. Even the fitness centre was very nice.」

「This was the best motor inn I’ve ever stayed. Spacious and clean, checkin was fast and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had so many varieties of food, fresh cereals, muffins and bananas. Close to Bracebridge town and Muskoka Lake. 」

I was very frustrated when the front desk employee told me during check-out that I didn’t need to swipe my card to get the deposit refund. However, after driving an hour away, the front desk called me back to inform me that I had to return to swipe the card in person......Lost my time and gas.」

「Everyone was so friendly. I arrived earlier than posted checkin time with 4 grandkids and they got us a room extremely quickly and the kids were in the pool all afternoon. Extremely clean and local to all the shipping and restaurants. 」

「As part of my boyfriend’s 27th birthday this year, I took him to Minden for ice racing. The stay at Dominion Hotel was an absolute gem! We love local inn’s and Dominion checked all of the boxes off. Being it was so cold the weekend we went, the room was so cozy, so warm, and in such a cute part of downtown. We had a blast and even enjoyed a lowkey dinner at the pub below. We loved it and have already planned a summer trip back for fun! 」

「The staff, Melanie was very friendly and helpful. The room was okay, nothing special. My only complain is the bed, which is the most important part of booking a room. Right as we got in the room we checked the bed and found so much hair, the pillows smelled like someone’s sweaty head, so i asked for fresh sheets and changed it myself.」
