「On one end of the scenic village of Haliburton. There's a lake across the road. The shared bathroom is ultra modern. The beds were comfortable with new bedding. It was a bonus to have the use of an equipped kitchen. The rooms were on the 2nd floor, accessible only by stairs. Host met us at our pre-established arrival time.」

「We booked our stay in advance and it fell on the weekend of a huge snow storm 3 feet. Power went out as well. But we had heat thankfully, and owners had a generator. They kept the driveways clear of snow. The view was picturesque. It was peaceful fun. 」
