Deerhurst Resort

Deerhurst Resort

8/10 Good
"Pros: - Buffet Restaurant - Family Friendly Activities - Affordable - Snack bar/restaurant by the lake is very popular and nice Cons: - Lakeside Pool and jacuzzi was overcrowded. More heated pools in the area are needed. - Bayshore Building needs new screen doors - Rooms are big enough for a sofa bed - add them for families / or two king beds would be ideal."

"Really great dog friendly property! Our cottage was very clean, and we had a small issue with our BBQ when we arrived which was fixed within 30 mins. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of kayaks, paddle boards, etc to enjoy the lake. Lake is shallow at the beach/shore line, making it really accessible and safe feeling. We'd definitely come back."

"I recently stayed at Arrowhead Inn and had a great experience. The motel was purchased and renovated by a lovely family last year and their hard work really shows. The owner is genuinely one of the nicest people I've encountered in many years of travel - excellent customer service from start to finish. The room was very clean, the beds were firm but comfortable and the added soundproofing kept the nearby highway noise to the bare minimum. For the price, the value was great compared to other local lodging choices. The 5* reviews this Inn has received are well deserved. I recommend this motel and will gladly stay here again the next time we are in Huntsville."

"Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Made us feel welcomed. Staff at breakfast are very friendly and hard working they keep everything well stocked and very clean. Rooms are very clean as well. We stayed during a busy weekend and parking was very full but still managed to get a spot. Only one issue was they only have 2 elevators and one wasn’t working after a power outage."

"The facilities are very nice, but overpriced for what you get. The continental breakfast was PACKED, with no places to sit and huge lines. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the A/C unit was making a rattling noise all night. Overall, it was an okay stay."

"The room and bathroom were updated and comfortable. We stay here each time we are in the Huntsville area. Walk to restaurants handy. MY one issue is in the bathroom, it comes up frequently when we travel . The bathtub/showers must have a safety grab bar on the wall for getting in and out. We are seniors travelling, this should be a must in each unit. This summer we have encountered this issue at other inn’s also."
