「How clean it was 」

「In general, the room was very clean and comfortable. Water was very hot and the room was very warm. However, one electric socket was broken. The vicinity of the hotel to the city center is not close, needa 1 h transportation time. 」

「It's an ok hotel if you are visiting Excel for an event but the hotel needs a make over and especially the public area is worn down. My room was ok and the restaurant was ok too. There is nothing else in the area so I recommend Excel north where there are more restaurants.」

「Only stayed the night for me and my son, Martin was very helpful and very chatty, a really nice chap , very pleasant room perfect for the price and needs we had , great location and will definetly return there for London visits as it's about a mile from station too」

「They have changed us to another Ilord Best Western hotel when we checked in due to the maintenance of our room. It was too sudden and didn't inform us in advance. I was frustrated at first because we were worried that the other hotel won't be closer than the original one. Luckily, this is closer to the Ilford station as well. So, I didn't think I should complain about it even the hotel hasn't given us prior notice. It's still a good choice if you have tight budget.」
