Great stay in Christmas time
The experience in Versace hotel is amazing because I stayed during the Christmas. They have a ginger man hung on your door in the morning. Also in the night they would provide you some treats. There’re many choices in breakfast buffet, even miso soup and congee. The place is full of luxurious and elegant. Definitely worth staying.

The Worst 5 stars hotel I ever stayed
Extremely bad house keeping! Didn't clean the bath room, just provided bath towels, missed all hand and face towels. No fill up of any toiletries, facial tissue, shower gel, shampoo....even bottle water. Of course, don't expect the toilet was cleaned.

5 star building with 3 staff service. Bar was closed at 9:30pm, 24 hour room service only offered a cheese platter. No atmosphere, maybe it’s better if you stay on a weekend. It’s not worth the money, JW Marriott or the Langham are more value for money.

Very hard to locate guest parking Actually designated Condominium!! Should have proactively requested a room in proximity to the lifts but despite looking for one front desk could not assist Minor aggravation was I preferred a side with my steak bit it didn’t arrived I asked the waitress to check if it was ready and if not to cancel the order By the time it arrived the supervisor proudly announced they were freshly cooked .. which was true .. but by that time I had finished the mains!! It should not have been charged imo.

Poor service from check in forwards. No attention or information at check in. Terrible first room. Rude and condescending manager when approached about issues. A/C in 2nd room faulty and switched at 3am. This used to be a great hotel! And whilst it still looks the part, the service is a shadow of it’s glory days! Do yourself a favour. Stay at the Sheraton across the road!

A grand entrance and a hall with excellent breakfast buffet . Rooms seeing a sign of wear and tear and hotel needs some touch up paint etc . Beach is 5 min away and if you drive - it’s a nice place to stay . My room included a jetted tub and I enjoyed my stay . Would likely come back .

Room was water damaged/cracking on the ceiling. Furniture was rough and damaged. We were party of four and only received two towels. Sadly did not feel like a luxury stay.

Property needs a lot of maintenance and care. Limited F&B options. King bed terrible. Two beds put together but one bed was lower than the other and on a slant not a great sleep.

This was an amazing experience from the entrance of this spectacular hotel and from the incredible food! The staff were very friendly and gave myself and my wife a great feel and energy . Keep up the good work Also forgot to mention the early check-in With out any dramas . Our room wasnt ready but the man in concierge said ill give you the room next door . What a champion. Great property for a romantic getaway. Only negative is parking. We have to drive around twice in the evening to get a park. Maybe because there was a function on. But just be aware. We got a free upgrade to a suite which was excellent.

The staff were rude and didn’t honour the Expedia gold reward programme and their was screaming kids in the pool everyday from 530am so no sleep in … the lifts were constantly out of service and my husband sat in someone’s urine who had peed on the seat at breakfast and the staff had not cleaned it up !!! The hotel has gone to absolute disgrace

Customer service was really good and the general cleanliness was good. Breakfast buffet had a great range and was well done, but some plates had very small food stuck to it and I understand it was hard for the kitchen hand to see them. Some child high chairs were put together incorrectly so the straps didn't fit my baby. The general condition of the building, including pool, is old and needs to be renovated. The pool in particular had a lot of broken tiles in and around it. Most of the pool lounger cushions were mostly torn. During peak times at the pool, there weren't enough pool loungers or towels for everyone. We stayed in two superior king rooms and the furniture wasn't consistant with the photos online. Both were missing a sofa and the one room was also missing the arm chair. The rooms were next to each other and were the same size. The location of the lifts could have been imrpoved. Our rooms were facing the Marina Mirage shopping centre, which meant they were at the end of the building and far away from the lifts. The basement carpark had enough spots, but it was stuffy and sometimes had visible garbage bags or other things that should have been hidden.

Front line staff were terrible. They had no people or communication skills and ruined our initial reception with the hotel. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo which u would expect to be at full functional level. However, we couldn't even use the private plunge pool due to its condition. It had broken tiles everywhere mould and algi growing through the pool tiles, i couldn't understand how such a condo can be presented to a customer in this state, considering the price paid for a 7 night stay. Very dissapointing

Terrible stay, aircon issues
We had a major issue with the aircon, esp with it being summer, it is very important. The temperature didn't go below 26 degrees. We stayed for 2 night and during our stay we were moved to 3 different rooms. 2 of those rooms had issues with the aircon, in the second room the maintenance guy came to fix it at 9pm, and then there was dust everywhere. He was nice to get the room switch for us as it was dusty. Overall the experience was a nightmare, having to sleep in a warm room and having to move twice. Considering we paid so much to have a comfortable stay was very disappointing. Reception didnt even give any compensation they didnt seem to care much. The place needs some maintenance work done.

This was the most amazing place i have stayed at, plenty of parking, nice restaurant, beautiful pool area, amazing rooms! The room i stayed had a tiny balcony but glad we could still have enough space to look out for the views.

Still an icon on the Gold Coast
New name but same excellent experience it’s always been! Love this hotel and the staff always make it a special experience. This time it was my daughters turn for a special sisters staycation before a new season begins and they had a wonderful time. The staff were brilliant.
