"This is the second time I have stayed at The Strand Palace Hotel. I am a lone traveller and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The room is very clean and the facilities in the room have been well thought out. The choices at breakfast are excellent. I will definitely be staying again and would highly recommend."

"Nice hotel, comfy room, good location but a walk from the nearest tube. VERY busy and crowded in reception. Half of reception was boarded off as doung some renovation. "

"We have stayed in a number of different hotels across London over the last 15 years, whether for work, a weekend away as a couple or a full family trip. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at for what we need. The location is perfect for getting to pretty much every major sight, being so close to Blackfriars and Southwark makes it incredibly easy to get about, but we were actually able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Rooms were amazing quality and size - as a family of 6 we booked a double double (an interconnecting set of rooms, one with two double beds and one with a king bed). We had ample space, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great and the staff were incredibly helpful. The only negative was that we waited 25mins on our first evening to get a drink, but the bar staff were busy catering for a wedding so we’ll give them the benefit of doubt. Overall a great stay and we will be returning."

"Our room with four double beds worked for four of us for one night. It was clean but the air con didn't work properly. The shower was excellent. Would consider staying again with a group of friends."

"The location is perfect for our need and all the sightseeing we wanted to do. The amenities like the lounge with hot beverages were just what we needed in the morning. The refillable plastic bottle for water was very helpful. Launderette was a plus since we have a long vacation and was able to do laundry with soap provided as well for free. We did did eat breakfast at the hotel, The only issue we had was the day we wanted our room clean, it was unfortunately missed but , they did come come the next day and all was fine ."
