「The hotel is great. Spacious and clean, with a kitchenette. I can prepare some food for my kids. The location is comparatively far from the main area of the city, but the environment is fine. Opposite to the hotel is a Navy Base so I think the safety can be guarantteed. No breakfast service, and the WIFI is weak.」

「This is a magnificent place to stay in New Orleans. I stayed here one for a wedding and since then I don’t look anywhere else for a room if the Frenchmen is available. There’s not much to the place except nice old rooms at a great location. The rooms can feel a bit bare and some fixtures are old but that’s part of the charm for us. Excellent pool and hot tub. Highly recommend. 」

「Absolutely loved this historic guesthouse. The rooms are along the perimeter of an enclosed courtyard area with a pool in the center. The room was on the smaller side but very comfortable with ice cold AC and a ceiling fan. The location couldn't have been more convenient in terms of walkability, while still being away "enough" for the hustle and bustle of some of the busier streets in the French Quarter. They offer a private parking lot for $40/night but we were able to find free street parking...

「This hotel is all about location. walking distance to everything you want to experience about French Quarter.--- Fresh Market, Frenchmen Street (which I loved- music, dancing, great restaurants). Bourbon Street (not so much- unless you're one of the young, obnoxious drunks), I would say this hotel would be a gem if the rooms were updated. a little paint and caulk would go a long way.
