"Clean comfortable room. The location is ideal. Just a 6 minute drive to all the shops, restaurants and activities in Newport. We usually go in the summer but this was a winter weekend getaway. It actually snowed too. Looked great. We enjoyed the indoor pool while the snow accumulated. Breakfast at the hotel was good but for dinner we stopped at the Mooring Seafood Kitchen + Bar (both nights) and it was delicious!! I recommend this hotel and we’d stay again"

"The room was beautiful, with a private, outdoor deck. There were lovely amenities: bottles of Pellegrino, warm chocolate chip cookies each night, thick towels, plush robes. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing every day. Great location, close to everything but not too busy. We will definitely return."

"Francis Malbone House is an oasis in the hubbub of downtown Newport. All the wharves are easily walkable. It was less than 15 minutes to walk to the Elms. On site parking is a huge bonus. Daily breakfast is always delicious. But the best thing about this inn is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. "
