"Overall, the beds were comfortable and it was pretty clean. There were some upkeep issues. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, tear in the curtains, stain on the duvet cover, water damage on the ceiling of the shower (which taller people may struggle with), a strange patch job in the bathroom ceiling that looked like a vent fan was removed then a piece of painted plywood was used to fill the resulting hole, and a pubic hair on the conditioner bottle."

"It looks like an older property and the hallways seem a little dark. But the hotel is very clean and my room was very nice. The room air conditioning was fairly quiet and efficient. The breakfast was a typical continental set up, with choices of scrambled eggs and sausages.with various cereals and make your own waffles. The staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel isn’t fancy but it doesn’t need to be. It is simple and my room was very comfortable. If you want a hotel that offers nice amenities, functional clean rooms and is located near Iowa Hawk sports complexes also University of Iowa Hospital/clinics at a value price I recommend the Hesrtland Inn."

"Had a bday party for a 15year old girl got compliments about noise but I let them know it was 6 15yr olds in there n will be in the pool but it was a calll like ever5 min n it was just noise at 5pm could have went better"
