Subway was nearby allowing easy access to public transit if needed. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends, and will definitely be my spot to stay when visiting. "

"I travel a lot and stay in a range of hotels. Freehand is overpriced and over rated. Staff were pretty cold and unfriendly, aside from the guys who help with the bags. No complimentary tea or coffee, just overpriced weak rubbish from the in house cafe. Rooms are dated, which is allegedly part of the charm, but pretty unclean as others have said. Doesn’t feel like a boutique/design forward experience, wish I’d stayed somewhere else. Gym was poorly equipped. Location is great, but that’s about the only good part. Horrible experience "
