"No me gustó la atención del personal no t atendía y atendía diferente a otras personas ,demasiado mosquito terrible y le falta animación lo único bueno fue el personal q trabaja para expedía Luis nos atendió muy buen y siempre estuvo al pendiente de lo q se necesitara ,el trasporte q te movía dentro del hotel no paraba No recomendaría este hotel."

"We will definitely be coming back! We had such an amazing time. The staff was incredible, the hotel itself is beautiful and peaceful, and it’s extremely family friendly. I had the best time enjoying the water parks with my niece, nephew, and baby there was truly something for everyone. The only area I think could use some improvement is the buffet food. It wasn’t bad, but it was a bit hit or miss depending on the day. We unfortunately didn’t plan ahead enough for the specialty restaurant reservations, so we only got to try the Mexican restaurant, but it was absolutely amazing. My aunt and uncle were able to try most of the others and said every single one was excellent. What really made this trip special, though, was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive, but “Biscocho” from the main buffet truly stood out. She was fun, kind, thoughtful, and made every visit such a great experience. Overall, we had an incredible stay and are already looking forward to coming back and next time, we’ll definitely stay longer!"

"Stayed at the Paridisus Grand Cana this March with my sister for our spring break. The resort is really nice for families, with plenty of activities for children. Some rooms are nicer and cleaner than others. When we first arrived, we were greeted with drinks and brought to our room. The room looked nice, but upon further inspection, we found the pull-out bed was not clean (leftover sand from a previous guest) and that there were some minor imperfections and wear and tear on the walls, as well as an ant problem. After reporting these, we were given a new room that was wayyyyy cleaner, with no wear and tear. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. Definitely recommended for families or those wanting to relax. No nightlife on the resort. Food was very mid, especially the buffet. Restaurants were okay, but that was to be expected. Would say the resort wasn't too far from nightlife or excursions, but that would definitely have to be factored in. "

"Only problem was we tried 3 different rooms upon arrival because the ac wasn’t working but they were very willing and helpful. Also, the restaurant reservation system is wonky, but again, they were very helpful and booked them for us. Staff was amazing. Daily pool activities, lovely bartenders, really fun. Bring bug repellents. "

"The experience was overall good, if you’re there for the sun, tanning, beach and pool lounging. When you’re laying on the beach there are a ton of guys coming up to you trying to sell you excursions. such as dolphins, sharks, scuba diving, etc. trying to sell for 90 dollars a person. They won’t leave you alone and they come in rounds. some guys trying to sell you alcohol, cigars, coconuts, massages and hair braiding. They make it impossible to really relax. they don’t get the idea when you ignore them either. Employees are great. When we came in they tried to sell us a “ Elite “ package and gave us a “ butler “. The butler didn’t serve much of a purpose since the serenade offers an app to download in the app store. the elite package felt like a scam, upgrading the kind of “ service “ we get but not upgrading the room we got. When you book online, you get an upgraded room with the elite service so… felt like a rip off. it was 6 nights 7 days and would’ve costed 800+ onto our trip. The food was okay, the dominican night by far offered the best food. The buffet and the restaurants were mediocre. i don’t know what oils they’re using to cook their foods but-warning you, you will feel extremely bloated. don’t eat the sushi, it’s all rice. half the meals didn’t have the ingredients listed. The room was well cooked, good AC, showers and sinks. our toilet got clogged only on our 2nd night. the pools were cleaned and properly chlorined. the pool bar was fun but crowded at times. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Excellence El Carmen. Had no trouble communicating with the staff. Our room was clean. We upgraded to Club. The only complaint about that was the pool service. We were served drinks at the beach club but at the pool, no one came around. We had to go to the bar if we wanted drinks. We had our free water therapy which was wonderful. We paid for the upgrade head and shoulder massage. Disappointed with that because my friend and I both paid for 30 minute upgrade and the service was split between one spa person. I feel we should have got 2 people for that part and a full 30 minutes each."
