"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Doubletree in Asheville, NC. The members of the hotel staff were nice and very helpful. We loved hanging at their rooftop bar The hotel’s location makes it convenient to walk to the local downtown bars and restaurants. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and well stocked with free warm cookies :) We will certainly be back again for another stay at the Doubletree Asheville "

"I hit a deer on my way to the motel. So I couldn’t make it there. Expedia was awful!!!! Said I could not get a refund because I didn’t pay extra! I was 2 hours away I didn’t think I would hit a deer and not make it. Expedia no remorse. No care at all. I emailed downtown inn and within 10 mins they gave me a full refund!!!! I will be staying here every time I’m in Asheville from now on! Expedia….. I will not be using them unless it’s a last resort. "
