The hotel is dated and passably clean but not remotely nice. Very surprised to see (with no prior warning) that the hotel refuses to host patrons from many of the surrounding counties and areas, and while I was able to provide a New York address, our family had been traveling for a single night from an area that would have otherwise been declined. Refusing to host guests who live 1+ hour away and who might want to come in for a single night of concerts or brewery tours and not drive late is an absurd policy. I also heard they decline guests with no car, which is often my travel scenario when I visit a walkable city. Low review to flag this oversight in listing information and very restrictive policies that could leave someone stranded.
Additionally, we heard loud motorcycle racing around 2am and someone with sustained yelling on the street at 6am, plus housekeepers blasting music around 9am, it wasn’t a restful night's sleep and the rooms are not at all insulated from the loud city around them. At $175/night, this was a poor stay.
Location was great and very walkable, so the drawbacks may outweigh the benefits but it’s worth seriously considering them.
