「We loved our stay at the Las Cuevas Beach Lodge. Huge room with fantastic views, very friendly helpful staff and an amazing beach directly across the road. As long as you don’t expect five star facilities when only paying their very affordable rates, I think you would also enjoy staying here. Some of the facilities are basic but we were comfortable and enjoyed the bar/restaurant. I would highly recommend spending some time here.」

The first time I paid over $100US more than the second, but my room was a tiny box the first time. Second time I paid less and the room was bigger with a microwave and fridge. About to book a third time and not even sure what room to pick. But this time I have the staff info to call right after I book to make sure I get a decent room. 「The hotel is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The room was spacious and nicely furnished except for the sofa which had a tear on one arm. The advertised free breakfast was not provided perhaps not surprising as I was the only guest there. The manager was very helpful in setting up a sightseeing tour for me. 」
