「Lovely friendly staff. Unit very clean & well arranged. Noisy road but we had ear plugs so ok. Very close to a lot of things, incl cafes and restaurants. Weather was superb. Stay was perfect. 」

「In general, everything was old. The door lock was rather flimsy hence I don’t feel secure in the room. Water pressure from shower head was low. We stayed for a few days, No replenishment of toiletries or water, need to request and pick up from concierge. The only plus of this hotel is everyone was very courteous, polite and helpful. This is the first and last time we will stay here. 」

「One of the my favorite hotels on month-long trip to New Zealand. After hiking 6-hour Tongariro, the expansive hot tub-pool at Powderhorn was just what the doc ordered. Laundry room on the floor a plus -- and hotel dining facilities (for dinner and breakfast) were very good.」
