Kewpee hamburgers started in 1923 and this iconic location in downtown Lima opened in 1928. A Kewpee location in Kalamazoo, MI, near where Wendy's founder Dave Thomas grew up, is said to have inspired him with their square hamburgers and thick shakes.

"We have stayed here many times while visiting family in the area. It’s always very clean and quiet. We never even consider other hotel options. It’s a great place to stay. There aren’t a lot of gluten free breakfast choices for me, but I am used to that and bring my own snacks."
