「There was no breakfast. Its old & dirty looking place. While waiting pool side,We witness a women urinating, right in front of us inside the property . She was removed by police. Plus it's far from the airport. Staffs are the olny positive part of this place. We will never go there again. Too many lizards roaming around.」

「Cute little motel walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Beach chairs and towels are even provided! Outdoor pool was clean and tidy with plenty of seating. Our room was spotless and offered a kitchenette with microwave, stove coffeemaker toaster and a good size fridge. Owners Darren and Philip were excellent hosts -offering suggestions on dining and tours. Property is well maintained and felt very safe. We would definitely stay again when in Pompano! 」

「The front desk staff was not always attentive- they didn’t say good morning. How did you enjoy your stay- not very pleasant. Very disappointed in the breakfast- cereal , muffins, fruit and yogurt- no eggs, toast etc. Parking very good, bar good. 」

「I was very pleased with the whole resort. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The staff was helpful, especially the person on the phone whenever I would call down for assistance. I did prefer the room in the newer tower to the room in the original building. It was quieter and roomier and nicely appointed. I would definitely recommend the Opal Resort and would like to stay there again.」
