「The bed was comfortable. The shower was very good. We had a one bedroom suite, nicely decorated and plenty of room. Plenty of parking. Breakfast is the main reason fir a lower score. Day one, burned eggs, inedible. Second day, just as bad, plus a second egg dish that looked terrible. Third day we didn't even go down for breakfast . 「I wanted to like this facility. The historical aspect of the building, mostly willing to please staff, good Thai restaurant, and great location on the Fox river are all pluses. HOWEVER the following minuses negate the pluses: Musty smelling room. old carpeting, harsh lighting in the rooms, no front desk staffing after 10:00 pm, and finally I had to ask the staff on three different days to clean my room, change my sheets and towels daily as directed after the first day of not doing so. 「Used the pool. It was great! Staff was nice and friendly. They have some kind of reduced housekeeping, we stayed for 4 days and were supposed to get house keeping on day 3, but it didn't happen. We had to ask for towels. Pros: beds were comfy, great location, breakfast was decent, coffee was fantastic, room was spacious. Cons: housekeeping scheduling issue, one of the tv remotes did not work, and the television in the living area of the room was very dim and there was no way to change...
