"Pool had heavy chemical smell. Room was wonderful and very comfortable! Loved breakfast and cocktails. A very nice touch. Would recommend to anyone this is the place to stay."
"This was the clear winner of all the stays we had (6 different hotels) on our 8 day scenic route driving trip from San Francisco to Seattle. We really needed a place to spread out and regather our things before packing up and flying home. We had really bad hotel just north of the Seattle Zoo before arriving at Park Lane, and our stay here was very much needed. We had room 409 tucked up in the quiet back corner of the building. I initially thought we weren't going to get a great view of the city that most rooms had. Then we opened the curtains to reveal the beautiful shady backyard garden next door. The suite had everything we needed, and generous square footage. Our stay here got us back on track during a busy activity packed trip. It was the perfect finish. The hotel and the neighborhood.
Our Portland visit included some hiking on the forest trails only a few blocks up the hill in Stearns Canyon. Those trails continue to Rose gardens, Hoyt Arboretum, the Zoo, a Japanese garden, all within a leisurly hour wooded hike.
Our main reason to visit was the Devo show at the Willamette riverfront. Our 8 days on the west coast followed 4 dates on their 52nd year of touring. Duty Now! We walked the 1.4 miles from to the show since we wanted to grab lunch on the way. Plenty of dining options and interesting street art was found on the way on SW Alder St. The downtown area was pretty chill when we left the show. We got some ramen on our walk back.
Highly recommend the suite rooms!"
"This was a last-minute hotel choice after we made a bad choice before this one. We were so happy with this hotel. Right off we were greeted by the friendly staff member. They were helpful and knowledgeable. The room was perfect for my family. It was comfortable. Parking was secure. And even though we were next to the airport o didn’t feel like the noise was excessive. "
"Very friendly staff, quiet building at night. At the center of downtown Portland where you can pretty much walk anywhere and experience its culture, food, and art. Decent price as well. "
"Room was beautiful, enormous and clean--great set up! Bed was super comfortable, bathroom also large. While we were not there for more than a fast stop before a flight, it was more than enough and we will return next time we're in this area!"
