「We enjoyed a wonderful short stay in Yorkshire and were made to feel so welcome in this lovely cottage, Sue really went above and beyond to make our visit special. Next time we’ll be sure to make use of the fabulous courtyard if the weather permits!」

「We stayed here for one night and were very impressed. We made use of the Leisure Centre. Make sure you book The Spa if you want to use their facilities. The Lakeside Bar area was very nice with a vast selection of spirits including alcohol free cocktails and bottled beer/cider. We went to the “Allo Allo” dining experience which was fab. We had a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed, then woke up and had a buffet Full English breakfast which also had a croissants gluten free muffins fruit and...

「Service was excellent, hotel needs some refurbishment, some of the furniture showing its age. Think that it has started a refurbishment already. Large wedding took place but the staff coped well with both and residents weren’t inconvenienced.」

「We had a great time yet again at the village hotel but fortunately we stopped in 173. This room is narrative impossible to find the postage for it is absolutely crazy. If we just stopped another room we will give you a five star service rating.」

「Hotel staff were welcoming. The room was clean and decent furnishings. The room was slightly small, but otherwise comfortable. Breakfast was part of charge and was good quality. Staff were thoughtful and helpful.」

「It was a good short stay, well appointed rooms, clean and housekeeping good. Comfortable bed good shower in terms of water pressure and adjustability Could benefit from not having the big lip to step out the shower. Breakfast was basic but a good thing to have included. It would be improved if you could have a few additions in request such as poached, fried or boiled eggs Although every day or scrambled eggs were great」

「A pleasant hotel on the top of the hills. The service was very good. One morning my breakfast was delayed due to a conference and I was given that on the house. The room looked a bit worn but pleasant and comfortable enough. My only criticism was the £100 damages deposit that they ask for upfront. I have never been to a hotel that asks for that.」
