「This property was my style of hotel, lots of character with a charming secret garden to dine in, but very modern rooms. Even had a towel warmer! Like all European hotels, they don't provide wash cloths, but I just used the corner of a towel since I had forgotten to bring a wash cloth. Not a big deal. 「A stunning hotel with a lot of charm and character. Quiet and peaceful. Located about out the way but staff were wonderful and friendly. Nothing was too much if you asked them for anything. A wonderful place to stop. Every meal was lovely and I would recommend the food from the stone and ivy to anyone. 」

「Just a quick night away. Parking a bit of a challenge as the cars I parked between had been a bit greedy. Room spotless, bed comfy, the chocolate bar a lovely touch. Wine selection very good and food really excellent. Staff helpful-we couldn’t get our TV to work. It was promptly fixed」

「The facilities needed to be renew, toilet seat was not fit to the toilet bowl, bed was too soft for me. We can hear people talking downstairs or walking outside. That's fine to stay 1 night.」
