「Our room was in the basement which we did not realize until we arrived. The room itself felt a bit dingy with a hodgepodge of furnishings. The air-conditioning was loud and rattling so much so that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. Fortunately, the heat wasn’t too bad so we were able to deal with it. 「The hotel was in the French Quarter and had a historic charm. There were even tourists who stopped by to take pictures in the courtyard. I know they renovated several years back however the sink was missing a stopper, and the shower didn’t work the way it’s supposed to for hot and cold. The hot water took a while to become hot and then it would become cold after five minutes or so and then need to wait again to reheat up again, and then it gets cold again. I said you told me you had no parking. She said I must have called the wrong number. I repeated the number and was told by another worker that was the correct number.
