"My friend and I just returned from a 3 night's stay at the Hotel Riu Palace, Paradise Island, Bahamas. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. At first, I was a little underwhelmed by the hotel, but over the course of our visit, it got much better. Here are the pro's and cons of the property for future guests. Pros: Obviously its location which is right on the beach. The beach is gorgeous and the water is breathtaking. The food was delilvious, every meal was very well presented, and SO plentiful. "Clean resort! Amazing plus that the boat takes you to flamingo island for free. We spent almost every day there even if it was only for an hour.. just because we could!! Definitely recommend to explore other beaches as well. Casino there is super small but great! Live dealers. Shopping is amazing here as well. Would skip the restaurant that is in the lobby. Our friends tried it twice (gave it another chance) and they did not like it at all. Steakhouse on site is very well known but we didn’t try it, it also looked dead most nights we were there. Would recommend trying local restaurants walking distance from resorts. Bars and pool area on resort are amazing! Staff is great, 10/10 stars and would stay here again/recommend. Also a bunch of stores/restaurants walking distance. Night life is an 11 minute taxi ride."

"Staff was more than accommodating and they work hard to keep the grounds up. No it’s not 5 star luxury, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and what’s more my teenagers were entertained. Spent my evenings with a pina colada on the beach"
