"Took a while for our room to be ready. We didn't get our room till almost two hours after check out and only after complaining. We noticed others having the same issue. We were not given a tour or an explanation of amenities. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. Staff was good beside a couple lack luster interactions. Food was great but after dinner you were left still hungry due to minimal portions and lack of sides with certain dinner options. Overall my stay was good. Would come back again in the future knowing now what to expect. Both my wife and I did get sick during and after our stay. "

"Well worth the money. Fantastic massage 2x. Golf cart rental is right next door to resort. Not much night life on this island after 8pm "

"The room was nice, clean and quiet. We wished there was an outdoor space where we could have our coffee in the mornings. Kin Ha isn’t included at Casa Azul Maya anymore, which was a very family friendly beach club. The included club now is Loretta’s, which is very nice and the food excellent, though not as family oriented."

"Beautiful property. Amazing views. Great staff. Only complaint was there was construction in the hallway right outside our room. But it stopped at a reasonable hour. "

"No one at desk to check in. Our shower leaked out onto floor, you had to let water run 15 min to get warm, no plug in outlets beside either side of bed, no wash cloths, only 1 hand towel. No dresser or shelves to put clothes, only a small wardrobe with 4 hangers. No coffee pot. No response from management to date.Stayed 1 night out of 7! Left! Contacted Expedia, they contacted hotel and hotel refused to refund!"
