Villa Elena lives up to all the 5 star reviews it receives. Value for the money, cleanliness, staff, comfortable bed, A/C etc. etc. If there's another or better place at this price point I'd love to know. If I'm ever back in Isla Mujeres, I'll be definitely staying here.

The room was huge and spotlessly clean with a fantastic sea view. Lovely big balcony with sun loungers overlooking the sea. Well equipped kitchen. Clarita was a very kind and friendly host. There is also a roof top terrace where u can see both coasts so you can watch sunrise or sunset from the same spot.

Everything stood out.The owners/staff were so nice. The room suite 6 was huge and clean. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, probably the best view on Isla. I would love to return. We broke a cup and bowl and they were so nice about it.

AC worked well, the room was nice and clean. I had issues paying by credit card and had to get cash at the ATM twice as there was a limit on how much I could withdraw daily. Overall, with fees and exchange rate impacts, I paid more for the stay than I was promised through Expedia.
