"You could hear the level above walking, running water. No breakfast. Shuttle to and from airport was great"

"We booked for 2 queen bed, but front desk executive said all rooms are full and gave a king bed room which was really tight to fit in 3 adults. Toilet was not clean and the worst part was flush was not working. No alternate room was provided and no maintenance guy came in the night. My wife has a medical condition and she had to suffer a lot in this whole transaction during midnight hours. Refund was also not provided."

"The room and breakfast were OK. We tried to call to get the shuttle to pick us up at the airport, but the front desk person (singular) was so busy that he continually put us on hold when we called. I held once for 10 minutes, but no one ever picked up the line, so I hung up. I held again for 3 minutes; same thing. We called several more times and were immediately put on hold with no person ever talking to us. We finally took a taxi. Once we arrived at the hotel, we saw the one person at the front desk continually put calls on hold while never talking to the people on the phone. I know he was alone and overwhelmed with taking care of the people standing in front of him, but he should have told them to wait occasionally so he could talk to the people on the phone. Management should have had at least two people on duty at the check-in desk so one of them could talk on the phone. It is their fault that staffing was too low. I texted this to Wingate's text line but received no response. I thought that was quite poor as well. I don't plan to stay in any more Wingates."

"The whole building is past its use by date. Our room window wouldnt close so we had a broken sleep with the road noise outside. This was remedied for us for the following night. The sink didnt drain properly and the entranceways, walls and floorings were dilapidated. The staff were as helpful as they could be. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean and the towels new. I would not want to return."
