「Air conditioning was not working. But luckily it cooled down enough at night to make it bearable. The room and the balcony were great as was the staff. 」

「The front desk staff were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. The bar/in hotel restaurant however might have been the worst service I’ve ever had. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple drink, and another 40 minutes to get our food, which was wrong/not what we ordered. The server was very polite (I don’t recall her name), but the wait times and lack of attention to detail was abysmal. The hotel and stay were wonderful, but I would never eat or get a drink there if I come back」

「Great location! Clean, well-equipped, open and spacious apartment. We got a premium one. It was a corner apartment, so we enjoyed a lot of natural light. Cookies in the room were an unexpected and tasty treat! It was a bit noisy at night, but the white noise machine took care of that nicely. Smart touch. We plan to return some day. :)」

「The room was very clean. The hotel space in general seemed very clean However, the room had some weird random things- the faucet in the bathroom was loose and just kinda flopping around. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. And after REALLY looking at the bathroom I noticed the trim was painted EXTREMELY messily While NONE of this was an issue with the stay - I guess I just expect more for the amount that’s paid for the room. Also the bar/restaurant (brunch on sunday) was...

「The stay was great, room was great, breakfast was good and hotel is within walking distance to everything we needed and wanted to see and do. One suggestion I will make is the showers need some sort of shelf to hold products on.」

「It's an old building, I understand.. but the AC doesn't work, the room was so and so clean, breakfast not available (only SAT and SUN)... a little bit pricey for the compromises. The property itself is characteristic.」

「Hotel staff is TOP NOTCH!! I was able to get my room earlier due to us having a concert the same day. Very welcoming environment and SUPER clean, definitely a hidden gem. If i ever go back up to detroit i definitely will be staying again!」
