"This is the only hotel I stay in when I'm in Daytona. I love the south side of the pier.. Close enough walk/drive to all the restaurants and shopping but much quieter. Love that the hotel is smaller as well. Never noisy and always a sunchair available by the pool. "

"The indoor pool stays open too late (10pm) which means kids screaming and I could also hear people partying and being quite loud until 3am. None of the phones work either to complain to the front desk. The property could also use some maintenance. It is a little unkept and outdated. Didn't exactly feel safe here. The staff was at least nice."

"The pool was great and overlooked the beach. The vending area, laundry facilities, and bathrooms all looked newly renovated, with nice tile throughout, including in the shower."

"The staff was great and helpful, especially John at the front desk. The atmosphere is fun. The rooms were clean but once we arrived housekeeping was not great about replacing towels, coffee, etc. This is, however, a fairly new hotel so I'm sure there's a learning curve. We will go back next year!"

"Hotel has changed policies to incorporate as many extra charges and hidden fees as possible. They advertise amenities they no longer have. Breakfast is not included, they have a restaurant style bar in the lobby and you have to pay extra for service and food. Parking is $10 per night. Late check out is $10 per hour. They removed the hot tub. They renovated and it looks great, but the real reason for the renovation was to add the lobby restaurant to save them money on breakfast and to be able to charge their guests more fees."
