Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their local knowledge and kindness made a real difference. 「It’s a nice room with decent security entering the property. It was also close to the train so it made traveling easy. The only thing I didn’t really like was the room I was given was a double room which I didn’t really need that had a door that looked like it was a sliding door at one point that they locked in place; I didn’t feel comfortable with it so I blocked it off with furniture. All in all I didn’t have a problem while I was there and though I would ask for another room I’d stay there...

「It is a great hotel! Very spacious room and comfortable bed. It is not close to Palermo downtown (need an hour train) but just 20 mins walk to a beautiful beach or just 5 mins walk to an average beach. For us just spent two full days in beaches so no problem with a little remote from downtown. Do call the hotel to arrange pick up in the airport as the city taxi is much more expensive.」

Breakfast was delicious and extensive, the room was very comfortable with a sea view, and there are multiple restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we were able to check in several hours early. I would highly recommend the Hotel Al Madurig to anyone wishing to stay in the charming town of Castellammare del Golfo.」
