It was very easy to find and the staff were extremely helpful in explaining how to get in, check out, aid me in getting to the airport the following morning. The room was spotless, had a lovely view from the window and the cafe across the way for breakfast was very nice.

Room was great. It could get a little noisy downstairs but area is excellent. Air conditioner broke down and administrator was notified in the am. When I got back to the room the AC was not fixed. As a courtesy they should have let me know but it didn’t happen. I had to message them and ask.

The location is ideal for those who want to explore Palermo's historic center. The facilities were immaculate clean! Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast at the cafe was tasty. Mari and Francesco were awesome at the cafe.

We liked the property in general. The location was great and unit was clean and spacious. Few things to be aware of, the toilet is on septic tank and make loud noise when using water, there is some smell but not too bad. The units are using very narrow and steep stairs so not easy to take big bags up but manageable if careful. Having said that the location plus and clean unit overcame the negatives. House cleaning was also great.

Short Palermo stay

We enjoyed our stay at Kala. The room was spacious and in easy location to the many street dining options and supermarket. Staff were polite and helpful providing any information required. Take the open air bus and little train to see the city.

These were nice rooms located in a great part of town. We really liked the walkability and great food at our doorstep. Hot water was iffy but tolerable. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch as was tickets for breakfast at cafe. Very good

Surprisingly spacious room and bathroom, spotlessly clean in quiet pedestrianised street. 4 good eating options within 100 metres, and don’t miss the gelato and cakes at Bar Luca. Internet did not work for us, but easy to get on in the street via Palermo commune site! We had a lovely stay, thank you.

Room was very generous in size. Shower / bathroom was great. Room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for our one night stay. Breakfast at the cafe across the road is a coffee and a few pastries which was delicious. Would recommend!

Convenient to dining areas. Great plaza and great place to stay. It was extremely hot and the air conditioning, even after they corrected it, was not cooling as we expected. Low cooling system- might be what’s appropriate for the property. Overall, good place to stay.

Great stay in Palermo

We loved staying at Kala Rooms. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean with high quality linen and towels. The reception made it possible to leave our bags after we arrived early. The rooms are in a very central location. The local area is bustling but the room is quiet and dark with quality shutters and windows. Reception offered great suggestions for local eating. Breakfast off site was simple and delicious. We are planning to stay again next time we are in Palermo.
