「This hotel is not what is shown in the pictures. It was evident when I pulled in with my family that the hotel was not clean nor safe due to multiple reasons. We asked for a refund due to the reasons and they refused to refund us. Stay away from this hotel and find some where else even if it cost more money」

「Excellent location with lots of easy free parking. Chef made us a delicious, large portion, plated breakfast each morning. She was extremely helpful answering questions about the property, surrounding sites and places to dine for dinner. Bonus- "The Barn" is located right next to the Inn and had live entertainment both nights we stayed. I highly recommend this Inn if looking to stay in Harper's Ferry!!」

The pictures made it seem much cleaner, nicer, and more updated, but the reality was completely different. I feel the listing was misleading, because what I saw online did not match the actual condition of the hotel in any way. 「Warning: A LOT of steps! The guest rooms are on several levels—definitely not handicap-friendly. We have done several B&Bs over the years and always enjoyed great breakfasts and meeting the innkeepers and other guests. While breakfast was good and made to order, the “charm” we’ve enjoyed in the past was missing. The decor was very eclectic—no real theme other than filling up a very large facility. 「Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.」
