We stayed just one night at the Carriage Inn, but Yvonne and Jonathan made us feel so welcome it felt like much longer. The inn is charming, our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. A perfect quick getaway - we’ll be back!

It was an amazing stay. Started each morning with a delicious breakfast. Yvonne had homemade cookies and brownies out throughout the day- yummy. The inn had a lot of historical charm. The location was perfect for our adventures. Yvonne and Jonathan- thank you so much for your hospitality.

We throughly enjoyed our little visit to the area and staying at the Carriage Inn made everything that much more memorable. The home, its interesting history, atmosphere and historic furnishings were like stepping back in time but with the modern everyday comforts. Then to top everything off it was very comfortable, warm, inviting and the hardy gourmet breakfasts were yummy and very filling. The owners/hosts were so knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. This in is located in a nice central location close to the historic town. If your fortunate to book a room here you will not be disappointed. 😉

Excellent spot for a vacation

My husband and I loved staying here and would stay here again if ever in the area. The rooms are very clean and the learning about the history of the home and town was a bonus. And the home cooked breakfast was to die for!

The history of the house is remarkable. The house is so beautiful inside and out and the hosts are kind and friendly. I loved learning about the house's history. Cookies were delicious. Very courteous host and asked about our preferences and made sure we were comfortable.

We stayed in the Copper Beech Suite, which was spacious and comfortable. It has its own screened-in porch which was wonderful to sit on at all times of the day. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. And the breakfasts were very good. Highly recommended!

The Inn was lovely and filled with so much history! Jonathan and Yvonne are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts and baked treats were delicious. The location is ideal; close to the downtown area and to the casino. We would definitely stay there again.

Yvonne was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of the Inn and the local area. She is a wonderful cook, breakfast was amazing! Very accommodating. We could come and go as we pleased and it didnt feel like we were being intrusive to her and her husband or the other guests. Highly recommend! If you happen to stay there on Sept 27th, be sure to wish Yvonne a Happy Birthday!

Beautiful Home

I enjoyed my stay at this beautiful home. The Sunrise room was gorgeous and very spacious. The bed was so comfortable and had beautiful linens. Perfect pillows. It’s very quiet and peaceful. I could not stay for breakfast, but I received a delicious baggy with a muffin, juice, a banana and a power bar. The Dutch flag on the muffin was so thoughtful because I am Dutch and so is the owner. I will definitely come back, it was a real treat.

Owners are extremely friendly, helpful, and pay attention to every comfort and detail!! My husband and I had t get on the road early, 6:30am, and were going to miss breakfast. Owner woke up early to brew coffee and hot water, plus made us a baggie to go of breakfast goodies!! We loved our room, The Garden View, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Want to come back again!!
