「Our host was very welcoming. we’d had really good communication prior to coming and so the dietary needs of my daughters were well catered for. Breakfast was delicious with lovely thick Greek yogurt and fresh fruit and warm flaky croissants. Would definitely stay again. 」

「Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. 」

「What can I say about the service and stay we have just had here. Tracy is amazing and such a good host. We booked the suite for a treat and what a treat it was. The room was lovely and clean and a very good size. The bathroom especially with the couple size bath was amazing. Overall fantastic and we will be definitely booking g again for when we come to Chester next. 」

「Good sized rooms, beds were so comforable. Very impressed there was an iron and ironing board! Staff were all really friendly and approachable. Breakfast was good! One thing that I might add is a shower cap in the bathrooms as the shower is a rainfall shower. I struggled to get into the shower, turn it on and not get my hair wet! 」

「Lovely locality, clean and spacious room, very comfortable bed. Pool and steam room fantastic. Room on the lower ground floor, disappointing view, large over grown hedge, made the room very dark」

「Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. 」
