Have to say the staff were good and very helpful and I have no problem with anyone working at the hotel. The atmosphere within the bar area was quite poor and the tv remote was broken so couldn’t watch sports. The main issue I had with the hotel was the music piped in through the obviously knackered speakers which as so distorted it was painful to listen too. We actually had to ask the breakfast staff to turn it down and they agreed it was terrible. Until this is resolved I can’t see myself ever staying there again. If you do stay here I’d advise noise cancelling headphones.

Very helpful staff, had no iron in the rook, but this was rectified very quickly, parking was available, but as it's a Golf resort, can get very busy. Hotel maintained to a high standard

Stayed in a golf view room which was ample size and with nice views of golf course, king bed was very comfortable. The only issues we had with room was there was a very noisy extractor fan or heating fan that was extremely noisy in the corridor (floor 3) that was quite annoying during the night. The tv was small and dated and remote didnt work . Another issue was there was a lot of dust on the tables and vanity units which obviously hadnt been cleaned in a while which was a bit off putting and the bath hadnt been cleaned properly so we didn’t use that! The swimming pool was decent size but the sauna was small and the steam room was not very hot. Meals at hotel are very expensive and overpriced for what you get so id recommend eating elsewhere. Its about 15-20 walk into whitchurch local pubs. Overall not bad hotel but a bit dated and need to improve the cleanliness in rooms as this lets the hotel down. Found the reception staff very friendly.

The reception staff were very polite and friendly and helpful the property was a little neglected and the vegan meals in the restaurant were expensive and underwhelming and the chicken tikka was flavourless. The bed was comfy but the trouser press was full of dust, there was no minibar as advertised. The pool facilities were good but the tropical shower was not working correctly.

The hotel was reasonable priced and set in stunning grounds. My room was clean and comfortable. Nice to be able to use the pool at no extra cost. I would consider staying here again and would recommend.

Overall a lovely inviting place as you approach and the lighting etc. Pleasant staff. Havent used the facilities, spa etc. Lovely spacious rooms. Nice to have kettle, tea, coffee etc plus hairdryer, iron etc in the rooms we have been in. This is our 4th overnight visit.

Unfortunately this hotel is looking very tired. The rooms are shabby and dusty. Stains on the walls and on the ceiling of the bathroom. But, the staff were very friendly and the location is great.

The staff were very friendly. The thing that disappointed us was the breakfast as we paid £18 each for a very mediocre breakfast certainly not worth the money. The cooked breakfast was in canisters and barely warm and very little choice of fresh fruit cheese and cold meats the tea you had to make yourself the coffee also make yourself and having stayed in many hotels over the years. This was probably the worst breakfast we’ve ever experienced.

Lovely room, very clean. Friendly staff and nice setting between 2 golf courses. Nice spa on site too. Sometimes a bit of a wait for service in the restaurant and bar, staff seem to be spread a bit thinly maybe due to being out of season?
