「We had a wonderful experience at the black rock lodge, the staff is amazing and you can feel how passionate they are about their work. The Tikal visit is a must. 「When we arrived we were met by Leo who was our contact for the entire stay. He was our bartender, waiter, and tour guide. Leo made our vacation memorable, he went above and beyond. The resort was beautiful and all the employees where friendly and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy. When we go back to San Ignacio we will be staying at this resort again. 「This is such a beautiful property that really immerses you in the nature of San Ignacio. Rose cooked fresh breakfast everyday that was absolutely delicious, and her and her husband were super kind. I also rented a car from Rod, who was also super nice, so I had such a smooth experience getting from place to place. 「Spacious, amazing to have private rooftop pool. Was able to get in room massages which were wonderful. Staff was excellent. Tiny bit of noise from dog across street a couple of times but did not disturb sleep and otherwise very quiet and nice to be a little away from the downtown.」
