Nabitunich is a one of a kind property and staying here is an experience in itself. You are surrounded by nature on this family run farm. Seeing the toucans was a huge highlight for me. I learned a lot about the plants and trees on the farm during my tour with the owner Dominic. The little hill is perfect for watching the sunset. I ate dinner there each night. It’s good home cooking. Breakfast was also great. My room was very comfortable. All the staff were extremely welcoming, kind and helpful (thank you Daisy, Shelly & Leslie). The laundry service was excellent. On my last day I was leaving early and Daisy made my breakfast before the normal start time. felt looked after the whole time. I took the shuttle from Flores to San Ignacio. The shuttle driver was happy to drop me off at the Gas station near the farm and Dominic picked me up from there. I didn’t have a car, but I had a great taxi driver, Eddie, who was recommended at the farm.

Beautiful and peaceful place to rest. This place was so fun to visit with great walking paths with pooch Magnolia escorting us along the way and meeting the cows were a special treat. We even saw the Howler Monkeys in the trees by the river. Host Dominic was interesting to talk with especially telling us the history of the family farm.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Dominic and his family are welcoming, informative, and gracious. The land around the lodge is stunning, with views of Xunantunich in the distance. Iguanas, toucans, green parrots, and frogs are all living on the property. The breakfasts every morning are authentic Belizean, and delicious! The rooms are clean, and comfortable.

Dominic the owner and his staff were amazing. We arrived way early and they went above and beyond to get our room ready. Having breakfast included was very nice and the option to have dinner at a reasonable price was even better. Getting to St. Ignacio was a breeze, with conectivos going by just across the main road. Having easy access to the river was fantastic A couple of doors up there is a horse stables and they have spectacular horseback riding excursions. This was a nice getaway from the city and to enjoy the peace and serenity of the town.

Dominic is a wonderful, friendly host. Nabitunich a great rate for a tranquil place to stay. We were upgraded to a nicer, bigger room since there was a cancellation, so we truly appreciate that! Being able to eat dinner on site and the home cooked breakfasts are plus as well.

The hotel is on a ranch and rooms were rustic; however it had the comfort of a hotel - great air conditioning and fan … comfortable separate beds, for 3 woman. The bathroom was big and equipped with toiletries not fancy but everything we could use. It gave authentic feeling of being on the ranch. The views were amazing. Breakfast was delicious and we also ate dinner there one evening. Delicious! But the best of the whole experience was the owner Dominic … had to keep one of my friends that she couldn’t take him back in her luggage! Will definitely recommend and love to return!

Clean rooms, perfect host. Dominic welcomed us warmly and cooked for us in the evening. We had good conversations and felt very comfortable. If it weren't so far, we would come back. The environment is a dream. We were able to get good insights. We were able to learn a lot about the Mayas. We looked directly at the Maya ruins from the accommodation. The farm is even better in reality than in the photos on the Internet.
