"With the mosaics on the entry floor this property was once a gem. It has not been updated and looks like it has been run down for years. This is the second time I came. After seeing the underlying bed sheets stained so badly i didn’t stay but I had little choice this time since I booked through Expedia and paid already. Sad the owners can’t invest and invest and modernize this great property. Additionally the window curtains are badly stained and the breakfast serves a paucity of choices. On the plus side the staff does their best to help and welcome you. It’s not their fault in any way the property is so retro."

"Our room when we walked in smelled like a wet towel. The hotel has REALLY gone down hill. There is no way they should be charging a resort fee. No help with parking. No ice machine. No towels by pool. It feels like a motel. Went to take a shower and the water smelled like fish. I called and asked to speak to a manager. They told me that the manager said they would call me the next day. Was afraid to even brush my teeth. The AC units are dinosaurs. Every time they kicked on I was woken up. Super, super loud. Sad. Love the town and this hotel use to be our go to. But, save your money."

"Stayed here before and had no issues except for the pillows. If you have any neck issue then make sure you bring your own. This trip I had some issues. The auto light sensor in the bathroom didn’t turn on when I walked into it so I push it on. I went out of the bathroom and sat at the far side of the room and about 5 minutes later the light started flickering like strobe light. It kept doing this every 5 minutes. I let the lady at the front desk know about it and her response was we never have any issues with that room are you sure it flickered. I told her she could come and check it out. She also walked into the bathroom and the light didn’t turn on for her either. She pushed the switch on and off several times as to reset it or something. She walked out and back in a few times and said it was working fine. The light never turned off. I told her there was a problem with the sensor and she tried to fix it again by turning it on and some more and then walking in and out of the room and even sliding the bathroom door open and closed several times. She said she had just deactivated the switch so it wouldn’t come on so the light won’t flicker any more. She said to let her know if I had any issues and left. I sat in my chair taking care of messages and the bathroom light came on all by itself with the door closed. So I told what had happened and she came over to check it out and the light was off because I had turned it off and she said I don’t see what the problem is. I said"
