Silverado Resort

"We booked two cottages at the property over the labor day weekend. The property has good location, clean and with lots of amenities. The pools were nice, golf courses were great too. We didn't end up using their other sports amenities. The pizza place and the cafe next to it were great too. We however had issues with the service. The check-in was not smooth. There was a lack of communication on why we had two different types of cottages assigned even though we had booked the same type. The cottages were not next to each other even though the booking was done several months in advance (admittedly, I didn't request rooms next to each other but which groups want the rooms far from each other?). The onsite restaurant (Market Bar + Kitchen) had the same menu (the brunch menu) for the 6 meals we were around for. At some point it got boring :) so we ate outside instead. The service itself was slow, hap-hazard. On top of all this, we had some mix-up about the billing too. Overall, could probably come here but I'll have to see to the particulars every step of the way instead of letting the resort take care of things for me."

"Great location, located right near the train station in the downtown area of Santa Rosa. We came from San Francisco for a little weekend home away from home. The price was very good. We stayed in their cottage suites. The room was big, had AC, and natural light. Some things I wasn’t a fan of: the curtains felt a little short. There wasn’t enough body wash, and hair care, and there wasn’t any way to cover the big window (that was high above) that offered natural light. That’s really just nitpicking though."

"Even though there was an issue with the hot water, the staff took care of us and made up for it. We even got a discount on the room because of that problem. I was happy with how they handled it."

"We stayed the weekend for our anniversary and it was delightful! Place was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Their hot tub is open until 11 PM and we truly enjoyed taking a dip after dinner! Would stay again!"

"Beautiful location. Ample, but expensive parking. Rooms with marina view are large and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean, showers are inside a tub, and with grab bar they are very narrow. If bathrooms were remodeled, this would get 5 stars!"
