"We were in Bath for a wedding so didn't spend much time at the hotel but we were able to drop our bags early in the morning and meant I could get a parking space. Got back to the hotel about 1am, quick check in process and given our keys. Room was great for what we needed although the floor baords were creeky so worried about disturbing rooms around us. People in the room above were noisy but thats not the hotels fault. Check out was easy in the morning. Just oaid £15 for the parking and we were done. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment"
"There was a problem with the room. But they did move us. I don't think Pets should be allowed in a hotel like this, we were moved as the room next door had a barking dog.
Otherwise, beautiful grounds and rooms. Staff at breakfast very welcoming, good quality food. Spa was clean. And a good stay"
"Arriving you have to climb 8or so steeps and there was zero help with the luggage. Then you have to drive your car to a parking lot which is 5 minutes by car (as so many one-way streets) and then 5 minutes walk back. Arrived and people at front desk were kind and helpful (other than lack of bellmany but office door open, paper shredder working overtime, and it wasn't the wonderful experience I had hoped on first entry. Rooms well appointed with water and soft drinks (not a single biscuit or crisp -strange) but all in all nice, but not up to top par as it suggests Location perfect but please "fix how we enter our stay as it set the tone in the wrong way" and give me a biscuit for my tea in the morning"
"Breakfast was a very basic continental but it suited my needs and was fresh and delicious.
Staff where very friendly and helpful.
Room was like a little chalet, very neat and the bed was very comfortable.
Loved the sound of the river flowing to the side of room it helped send me to sleep.
Will definatly stay here again when I travel to fetch my son back to University and when i come to visit him here."
